Although the world is progressing a lot and making astonishing researches in the scientific world yet it is unable to create the alternative of the books. As the present era is the era of science and its miracles , considering the present miracles of the science such as laptops, computers, mobile phones, tablet phones , net , android etc. etc. , we can say that they are unable to overcome the importance of books. There is no exaggeration in saying that the knowledge that is given to us by the books cannot be provided by any other source. Books are not pieces of paper and woods they are the pieces of wisdom and knowledge.
Books keep us away from the bad evils of our society and give us power to overcome these curses in a more effective way and help us in developing and reshaping our personality. The way we behave to others depend upon the knowledge we have and the books are the best , convenient and the most effective source of providing this information. Not only the pieces of wisdom(books) keep us away from the devils but it also make us a noble and respected person. Whatever our interests are , specific kinds of books according to our taste and flavor are available to guide us in living in a proper and beneficial way.
Not only good books are available but the bad ones are also there. As we know that there are two sides of a coin , so it is our duty and responsibility to select the right ones for us and prevent us in wasting and spoiling our useful and rare time in reading the bad and unhealthy books. It is also our key duty to take care of our old books. Instead of burning them in our hearth to get heat in winter , we should pack them in a sack and deposit them to our nearby old book stores. Caring the books create in us a feeling for caring our beloved ones in a more efficient way in this way books are also key to us in our relations.
So there is no exaggeration for me to say that there is no alternative of books and despite of the latest and modern sources of education , books are still on the top of list and they will remain. Meanwhile, an alarming condition is that our coming generations are unaware of the treasure of books. They are finding ease in every thing and in this efforts they are unaware of the wisdom of the books. Now in our million responsibilities , we should add another duty in this list . It should be our priority in advising our children the right source. But the point is that we are too much busy in our daily routine that we don't feel it our responsibility and as a result, outcomes of this carelessness is the evils of our society.
Collecting the things , it is concluded that computers and science cannot replace the books. Although computers can help us in our work but we should not be totally dependent on them. Books should be our first priority and we should study them under someones guidance. If we follow above mentioned facts and apply them on our lives then the days are not far when we have piece throughout the world and happiness will be all around us.
